I've Spent 18 Years Turning
Organic Search Into Revenue.
Here's What That Looks Like.
SEO consultant, industrial engineer, SaaS founder, and the person who will tell you what your organic search performance actually needs, not what's most convenient to sell.
My Story
I started in SEO in 2008. At the time, Google Analytics was not yet standard practice. PageRank sculpting was a legitimate strategy. The Penguin and Panda algorithm updates that would upend the industry were still years away. I was moonlighting as a web developer for local Italian businesses, and I noticed something: the businesses that appeared first in Google search got exponentially more customers than those that appeared second. That asymmetry became an obsession.
I taught myself SEO through experimentation. Building test sites, measuring what moved rankings, and iterating. This hands-on, empirical approach is still how I work today. I do not defer to industry orthodoxy when I can test the hypothesis directly.
In 2013, I founded Cigno Technology Ltd, a UK-registered consultancy. Over the following years, I worked with ecommerce brands, B2B services companies, and SaaS startups across the US, UK, Italian, and Spanish markets. The results compounded: from the luxury ecommerce client that reached $606K in organic revenue, to the UK IT company that went from $12,340 to $36,280 monthly organic revenue while outranking Compare The Market and GoCompare. These campaigns gave me deep, hard-won expertise in what actually moves the revenue needle.
Between 2019 and 2023 I designed and built Dropship.ai from the ground up - a SaaS platform capable of tracking 2M+ Shopify stores and monitoring 60M+ products daily. The project involved building a proprietary trend-detection algorithm that processed 600M+ products and 15M+ Meta ads. The IP and source code were acquired by a third party in 2023. Building Dropship.ai gave me deep firsthand experience in SaaS architecture, large-scale data pipelines, and product-led growth strategy.
In 2025 I founded SameAPI (sameapi.io), a website traffic intelligence platform built for SEO professionals, agencies, and SaaS founders who need competitive data without enterprise pricing. SameAPI combines traditional traffic analysis with a new category I helped define: AI Referral Tracking - the ability to monitor how much traffic a domain receives from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Available as both a dashboard and a REST API. I also founded DeLeak.co, an anti-piracy enforcement platform for online course creators.
I speak Italian natively, English fluently (near-native), and Spanish at a professional level. I work across time zones. Primarily serving clients in the US East Coast, US Pacific, and UK, and I manage my schedule to make this work without requiring clients to take early morning calls.
My Philosophy
Data beats opinions. I have no attachment to strategies that do not produce measurable results. In 18 years, I have watched dozens of SEO tactics go from "best practice" to "penalty risk" - keyword density, exact-match domains, directory link building, guest post farms, thin AI-generated content. The only consistent pattern across every algorithm update is this: Google rewards content and websites that genuinely serve users. Everything else is a temporary arbitrage opportunity that eventually closes.
Revenue, not rankings. Rankings are a leading indicator, not the goal. I have seen sites with strong rankings generate minimal revenue because the keyword strategy was disconnected from commercial intent. I measure success in organic revenue attribution. What did organic search actually contribute to your P&L this month compared to last month, and compared to the same period last year.
AI tools used daily. But strategy is human. I use Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor daily in my consulting work. They accelerate research, drafting, code review, and analysis. What they cannot do is develop strategy from business context, make judgment calls about competitive positioning, or understand the nuances of your specific market. AI is infrastructure, not strategy. This distinction matters enormously in 2026, when half the SEO industry is producing AI-generated content at scale and wondering why it does not rank.
Direct communication, no account managers. You work with me, not an account manager who has never done SEO. I respond to emails and Slack messages directly. I attend our strategy calls. I write your reports. If something is not working, I will tell you before you notice it in the data. This is not scalable, and that is why my client load is limited. I take on clients I can actually serve well, not as many as the business model allows.

What I'm Not
I am not an agency with juniors doing the work while a senior puts their name on it. I am not available for $500/month retainers that cover three hours of work and produce no meaningful results. I am not going to guarantee page-one rankings in 30 days. That is not how search engines work, and anyone claiming it is either lying or using tactics that will eventually harm your site.
I am not going to recommend services you do not need. If your biggest problem is content strategy, I will not push you toward a technical SEO audit. If your organic traffic is already strong and the issue is conversion rate, I will tell you that an SEO retainer is the wrong investment right now.
My client load is intentionally limited because I cannot produce the quality of work my clients expect at scale. When I am full, I say so, and I maintain a short waitlist. I would rather have five clients getting exceptional results than fifteen clients getting acceptable ones.
